Welcome to Littleborough u3a

Littleborough u3a is a friendly, volunteer-led charity, with just over 400 members who are encouraged to help in any way they can – for the members by the members. Our u3a is for people who want to keep active in body and mind.
Membership is open to anyone who is not in full time employment (retired or working only part time). It gives retired/semi-retired people a unique opportunity to do something different and offers us the chance to make new friends, develop new skills, have new experiences, and really get out and enjoy retirement. Membership includes admission to our monthly meetings plus our Monthly Newsletter . You also have access to our own interest group activities as well as those of the wider u3a.
We warmly welcome new members to our friendly group. If you enjoy company and would like plenty of interesting things to do or maybe you have a skill you could share, why not join us and see what we offer? We're sure you won't regret it.

Littleborough u3a was launched in 2014 after an Inaugural meeting held on 22nd September. We now have over 400 members. We are one of 1,050 branches in the UK, and part of a National organisation. Each u3a is unique and is an independent charity with its own constitution and policies.
Littleborough is a vibrant active village and items of local interest that our members are involved with or are interested in are shared in the groups.
