Our June walk, on what would be the hottest day of the year so far, started at Walsden Post office and headed North initially, where we were treated to fantastic panoramic views after an ascent of 531.06 feet.

We then turned East towards Rake End until reaching the Pennine Bridleway, which we followed South through Henshaw wood and North and South Hollingworth farms to Dean Royd farm, including a refreshment break along the way.

Now dropping down towards the canal towpath which led us back to our start point.
