Starting near Centre Vale Park we covered a distance of 5.2 km over a 2.15 hr walk involving 2.32km uphill, 172m ascent and 2.1km downhill, descending 168m at an average speed of 2.3km/h.

The route took us over footpaths, fields and the Calderdale way starting from the Ewood lane sports centre on a circular route. Through Buckley wood toward Edge End Farm and onto the Calderdale way, over Todmorden edge, passing Flailcroft and on through Robin wood before returning to the start point.
