Today's walk started at the King Bill at Shore and took higher shore road past Shore Hall and farm, to the Mary Townley loop where we headed West taking in some spectacular views under clear skies until we arrived at Watergrove reservoir.

From there we headed down Ramsden road to Wardle village terminus, taking a left turn into Wardle Fold and up to Calf Hey and Bank Barn Lane. Continuing Eastward we met Woodend lane a finally Middlewood lane and back to our start point.
