On this bright, sunny morning we started from Littleborough station concourse and joined the Three Bridges cycle path (Route 66) until we crossed Smithy Bridge road and onto the established footpath to Dobcross Mill off Spring Mill walk.

Following Clegg Hall road we took a rest break at the canal bridge before reaching Clegg Hall and passing onto Mr Entwisle's road into Little Clegg hamlet and crossed the canal swing bridge onto the towpath.

From here it was a starightforward return to our start point at Littleborough Station.

This was an easy, relatively flat walk along mainly established footpaths over a distance of 7.7km with very little climbing.
