A good turnout for today's walk which took us from the Station start point, past Hare Hill Library, the Cricket club and Townhouse into Gorsey Hill wood, a little challenging because of fallen trees and awkward styles to negotiate.

Having reached and crossed Todmorden road we found closed footpaths due to ongoing flood defence siteworks but managed to negotiate a path down to Greenvale mill where we stopped for a coffee break. Crossing the bridge we travelled along Lightowlers lane to the next brige and down the canal path back to the Station concourse.
