Starting from a small car park just off the A681 under Little Tooter hill we joined the Rossendale way travelling South passing border stones to our left and the wind farm to the right.

Pausing for a short break when we reached the trig point at Trough Edge End, the highest point in Todmorden, we dropped down to the old Limers Gate to return to our start point.

Just under 4 miles and just short of 10,000 steps on an overcast but warm day.
